There is no other reason for this long period than Optima`s sheer incompetence and lack of professionalism. The redemption declarations expired twice because no one reviewed our file. We are now on our third. All documentation is complete, so there is no reason to delay completion. It is a nightmare to communicate with them. If I contact them on the phone, they tell me they can`t discuss anything, but they can sign me up for a callback in 48 hours. When I send an email through their portal, they don`t respond. These people should not be in business.
Do you avoid them at all costs Questions about coronavirus (COVID-19)? We`re here for you. The customer service is terrible! You cannot contact your case manager or lawyer. You`re lucky if you manage to contact an agent who knows nothing and can do nothing but record a callback request that never arrives. You sit on your document and do no work! Not very good at all so far! I really regret not finding my own lawyers for my mortgage – please follow my advice and find yours. Apparently they are waiting for HM Land Regristry and check regularly, I spoke to HM Land Regristry today and they confirmed that all this was done a month ago! So what`s the stop? It`s another month, at least I`m paying over £500 for a mortgage whose interest rates are rising almost every month. Also, the person I spoke to on the phone today, we couldn`t understand each other – and I don`t think she had a clue what she was doing seemed nice enough, but with customer service like this, it`s shocking. I`m really worried and worried now that something as important as a mortgage is in their hands. They also do not respond to messages on the portal.
Health insurance for individuals and families. We are coming to the end of our 6 months (and our patience!!!) for a new mortgage to secure our interest rate, and Optima is pulling on its heels!?! Keep sending the same automated message that they need a document if we`ve already received a response in the portal they received. Endless calls with useless people on the other end who ALWAYS work from home. But that`s where you get by. The waiting time to talk to someone is always longer than an hour at any time of the day, unless they just cut you off. It could literally ruin our lives as prices go up and down, and we always have builders knocking on the door and needing payment. For months and no response on the portal to understand why they do not process it or contact us, although we have written that we want to file a formal complaint. PLEASE stay away!!!!!!! From start to finish, the service was excellent and very quick to do. The only negative was a bit of a problem with the mortgage protection policy, as I felt pressured to accept it. I would recommend this company to others. We offer ways to make money, prizes and much more – just to sell Optima Health plans. Remortgage was so easy and stress-free. I would use Optima 100% again – their process is very smooth. Manage your registry with effective, efficient and secure online tools. Horrible company we went with as we thought if our mortgage provider used them, they must be good enough. How can we be wrong? The remortgage process took more than 3 months. Although they returned all the documents they needed, there was silence. Do not try to call them as they will put you on hold for more than an hour and then the connection will be lost. This happened several times and emails via their secure website went unanswered. In the end, the mortgage triggered a complaint and oddly enough, we received an email the same day and things started to happen. The worst part, aside from the lack of communication and the ridiculous time it took, is that mortgage rates have gone up every month. Oh and we paid for this “service”.

I asked them to make a net worth and mortgage transfer on my property, it took over 4 months instead of the planned 4-6 weeks! The only reason I managed to close before my mortgage offer expired was because I was spamming the portal mailbox with 60 messages a day. I downloaded all my documents on time, but they don`t do anything with them unless you pursue them.
They would ignore messages on the portal for weeks and refuse to take calls, as others have also written in reviews.
