As part of a vocational and technical training program, students can often earn an industry-recognized certificate that demonstrates professional competence, knowledge and aptitudes. When students take these courses and earn a D11-recognized industry certificate, they have completed both the reading and math skills of the degree requirements. Lewis-Palmer has a four-year curriculum. Therefore, completion requirements are based on units of credit earned in Grades 9, 10, 11 and 12. We do not accept credits started before the first day of Year 9. The WorkKeys ACT are offered as part of our vocational and technical training program, primarily as part of each high school`s Alternative Co-operative Education (ACE) class. Bijou School, Tesla Educational Opportunity School, and Achieve Online School offer WorkKeys ACT to select students.

Students have the opportunity to earn up to 3 credits per semester, depending on the job. ACE is designed to improve job-related skills for students in Grades 11 and 12. All Grade 11 students in Colorado have the opportunity to complete School Day SAT in April at their local high school.
